clinging, may a tender place abrade,
and even word of fond care can affray,
perceived as unintended challenge laid.

The morning mood, who can affirm or fix,
best leave it in its own or Father's hand.
External, though caring. input in the mix,
Well meant words, stress may misunderstand.

So, let the operator of his own,
although your caring somehow may offend,
proceed with efforts known or making known[
just think kind thoughts of your beloved friend.
