Man at the Helm
Some days and some spans, all life seems at sea;
bright goal made up of mostly steep climbs;
still the journey begun productive can be,
when observing the signs of the times.
The vessel to guide, hands tested have won,
inspired and shored up stoutly with zeal;
reflection and rest before all is done,
solid plans, steady, strong at the wheel.
When there come shakes, result of past quakes,
then a powerful remembered hand,
will steady the keel and confidence feel,
vision cleared and proactively stand.
The man at the helm, doubt will not overwhelm;
he's been tested, on this route before.
Strong within is his guide, for he knows the tide,
and the One who rules both sea and shore.
